The Nintendo Switch's excellent sales in the first few months of availability have shown how its hybrid concept has resonated well with gamers all over the world. In a fresh interview, Capcom CEO Kenzo Tsujimoto also praised the console and dropped some hints on how they might support it in the future.

According to a report from Serkan Toto, Kenzo Tsujimoto noted in a new interview with Nikkei how the hybrid concept of the console works better than expected. As far as future support is concerned, the Japanese publisher wants to port games that haven't been released on Nintendo consoles in the past few years. New games would be better, but this is definitely a good start.

In a new interview with The Nikkei, Capcom CEO Tsujimoto just served up another Switch teaser. He says the home + portable console concept works better than expected and that Capcom wants to port games to the Switch that were not available on Nintendo consoles previously.

The first few games that have never been released on Nintendo consoles in the past are going to hit the Nintendo Switch next year thanks to the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. The Collection will mark the debut of the Street Fighter III series on a Nintendo console.

With the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, fans can re-visit historic moments from the series, including the introduction of two of gaming’s most famous heroes – Ryu and Ken in the original Street Fighter, and explore the timeline of events that helped create one of the world’s leading fighting game series. Fans can take a walk down memory lane in the Museum and view stunning pieces of concept art, scroll through character bios and uncover little known facts behind each game release with an interactive timeline. Audiophiles can also sit back and relax while listening to the most memorable Street Fighter tunes in the Music Player.
