Last week, Nintendo introduced several new features to its Switch consoles with a new firmware update. A few hours ago, it's been discovered that the Nintendo Switch 4.0.0. firmware included another rather interesting addition.

　　According to online reports, the latest Nintendo Switch firmware update introduced GameCube controller adapter support, which is a very interesting addition, as it may have been introduced to pave the way for an updated release of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, which was rumored to be in development but never officially announced.

　　Changed the specification which hid wireless networks using TKIP security from the network search results. Wireless networks using TKIP security will now display in search results as a grayed-out selection instead of not being displayedThe Nintendo Switch console supports WEP, WPA-PSK(AES), and WPA2-PSK(AES). If your router is using a different security type (e.g. WPA-PSK(TKIP)), you will need to change this security type within your router’s settings.
