The release window of the Nintendo Switch 2 console has yet to be revealed alongside every other detail of the system, but there's a good chance the new console from Nintendo is only going to launch in the second half of next year.
In a new video shared on YouTube, Doctre81 reported on a recent job ad from Nintendo with an application deadline of December 1st for a Retail Marketing & Strategy intern. What's interesting about the ad is the mention of a June through August time window where the work experience will be enhanced with mentoring, network opportunities, and exposure to industry leaders from across the company, suggesting a big marketing campaign to be happening at the same time.
As Doctre81 mentions in the video, this doesn't necessarily mean that the Nintendo Switch 2 will launch at the start of this campaign, as the time window provided in the job ad could indicate the timeframe in which promotion for the next console will ramp up, leading to a potential September launch, which sounds more likely than June, considering the Lite model was released at the end of September, and the OLED revision in early October.
If the Nintendo Switch 2 indeed launches in the second half of the year, the March 2024 window mentioned last month by a reliable insider is likely to be the month the console finally gets revealed. With so many rumors circulating online regarding its features, it will be nice to learn what the console will really be capable of.
The Nintendo Switch 2 launches on a yet-to-be-confirmed release date. We will keep you updated on the console as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
