As it has done since the launch of the Nintendo 64, Nintendo named five of last year's best games as part of its Player's Choice program. The five games that were included - Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Banko-Kazooie, 1080 Snowboarding, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron and Yoshi's Story - are now marked at a low US$39.95.
"We're very pleased to add these award-winning games to our million-seller Player's Choice line," says Nintendo executive VP of sales and marketing Peter Main. "Games like Zelda, 1080º Snowboarding, and Banjo-Kazooie set the benchmark for quality in their respective genres and are now available to an even larger audience."
The new lower prices went into effect on August 16.
