The Nintendo Fusion Tour is about to kick off its second national run. The event takes place over the course of five weeks and brings gamers a hybrid of Nintendo games and a solid musical lineup.
This years headliner, Story Of The Year, comes fresh off the Warped Tour and will be joined onstage by Lostprophets, My Chemical Romance, Letter Kills, and on select dates, Anberlin and Autopilot Off.
The tour opens on September 20 in Odessa, TX, and will work its way across the US to most major cities, bringing gamers an experience that Nintendo claims will blow them away. Tickets are priced between $15.75 and $17.75. This year's tour builds off of last year's event, which featured musical acts Evanesence, Finger Eleven, Cold, Revis, and Cauterize.
According to Nintendo, each venue will feature gaming kiosks and previews highlighting Nintendos newest products, including the Nintendo DS handheld system.
Story Of The Year vocalist Dan Marsala said in a statement that the band will use the tour to test out a slew of new songs not featured on its 2003 album Page Avenue.
