Pokemon Go is gearing up for the festive season, with developer Niantic releasing a new trailer to set the mood and tease new legendaries over the next couple of weeks.
The trailer shows multiple Pokemon Company busses making their way through some of the most recognizable cities in the world, hinting at increased rewards for players at all Poke Stops in-game. Niantic hints at an increased number of Poke Ball rewards from each Poke Stop spin, which it says will come in handy when trying to catch more pocket monsters during the holiday time.

Now Playing: Pokémon GO - There’s something coming your way, Trainers!
The stinger at the end suggests that the trio of legendary Pokemon from the series' sixth generation, Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde, are set to be introduced to the game soon. The three Pokemon sit behind the currently available Kalos region species in the trailer, which can currently be caught and hatched from eggs. It could be that Niantic is planning specific raid weeks for each of the Aura trio throughout December, although concrete plans haven't been announced yet.
Recently Niantic updated Pokemon Go on iOS to finally allow players to unlock the game's frame rate. It has previously been restricted to 30fps across all iPhones, with the update allowing most devices to push up to 60fps and the recent iPhone 13 Pro to reach all the way up to 120fps.
