Some lucky gamers in Dallas, Texas were able to pick up their PlayStation 4s last night for free, courtesy of NFL star Dez Bryant.
Tweets found by Sporting News reveal that the Dallas Cowboys receiver showed up at an area Wal-Mart last night and paid for at least five systems for those waiting in line.
The PS4 retails for $400, meaning Bryant paid at least $2,000. Bryant signed a five-year, $11.8 million contract with the Dallas Cowboys in 2010.
During a PS4 pre-launch event last night, Naughty Dog announced a new Uncharted game for PS4 and details on the single-player DLC for PlayStation 3 game The Last of Us. In addition, Sony announced a March 21 release date for PS4 game Infamous: Second Son and revealed that Destiny's upcoming beta would be available first on PlayStation systems.
What's more, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima announced during the event that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will include a PlayStation-exclusive "Deja Vu" mission that allows gamers to play as Classic Snake.
