To quote Kurtis Blow, "Basketball is my favorite sport. I like the way they dribble up and down the court." And while fans of the sport await the return of the ongoing season, Netflix has a documentary to keep you happy while you wait. Additionally, there are plenty of other movies, TV shows, and originals coming to the streaming service this upcoming week.
Already available on Netflix is The Last Dance. This 10-part series follows the Chicago Bulls during the final year where Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and coach Phil Jackson were on a team together. Additionally, it details the history of the Bulls drafting Michael Jordan and eventually becoming the powerhouse that won six NBA Championships. Working with ESPN--the network whose 30 for 30 series has been the pinnacle of sports documentation--The Last Dance was one of the best things to happen to TV this year. Even if you're not into sports, you should still check it out.
Every moment, every icon, every win. Relive the phenomenon.
