GameSpot has received new screenshots from Hundred Swords for the Sega Dreamcast. The game plays similar to PC strategy games such as Starcraft and Command & Conquer, where players assume the duties of directing an army, gathering resources, building up their forces, and destroying enemies. Of course, the game plays in real time, forcing the player to use quick decision-making skills and to execute strategies in a timely manner.
Hundred Swords for the Dreamcast is scheduled for release on January 25, 2001 in Japan. No US release date has been announced at this time. The game is being developed by Smile Bit, the company responsible for Jet Grind Radio and the Sega Rally games.
