Earlier this week, Ubisoft released the latest patch for Rainbow Six Siege on PC. Now, Patch Y5S1.2 has made its way to consoles. The patch primarily aims to buff Ying and fix bugs.
Though a previous update substituted her frag grenades with claymote, this new patch replaces her claymore with smoke grenades. It also increased the damage of her T-95 LSW and granted her more Candelas, as revealed in the full patch notes. Additionally, it fixed a bundle of bugs, including a nasty barricade replication glitch.

Now Playing: Rainbow Six Siege Highlights
A patch from earlier in April adjusted five operators, including Ying, Jäger, Mozzie, Buck, and Goyo. Ying received the most changes, with the other characters getting more minor fixes, such as Jäger's becoming less speedy but more armored. The developers of Siege released a lengthy blog post explaining the logic behind these decisions, citing a need to push players outside of their comfort zone.
