Previously we reported that new episodes of the Pokemon TV series would begin on Dec. 29, 1998. Well, Dec. 29 came and went, with only the old episodes beginning their rotation again. So when are we going to see new episodes?
We spoke with Norman Grossfeld, president of 4Kids Productions and producer of the American version of the show, to get the scoop. He told us that because Pokemon has been so popular, TV stations carrying the show asked if they could hold off showing new episodes until the February sweeps. So the new episodes of Pokemon will start running Feb. 1 and will run through the 16th.
