We're all in the midst of social distancing because of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, and you'll probably be held up in your house watching a whole lot of Netflix for the foreseeable future. So what can you watch this week? We have the full list below, along with some recommendations--plus, we now have the list of Netflix's new arrivals in April 2020 to look forward to.
On Thursday, Altered Carbon: Resleeved landed on the service, and the first trailer for it looks like a video game cutscene. While it's part of the larger Altered Carbon world, it doesn't take place during Season 1 or Season 2. Following Takeshi Kovacs (in a new sleeve), he must protect a tattoo artist while investigating the death of a yakuza boss.

Now Playing: Best Things To Stream For March 2020 - Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video
Also coming this week is The Platform. Landing on Friday, this movie takes place in a vertical prison where you get to eat the leftovers of the person above them. Does that sound gross? Yes, yes it does. However, the recent trailer for The Platform makes it feel like Snowpiercer mixed with a dash of horror.
And don't forget what's come out recently as well. Last week, the highly-anticipated anime series Beastars arrived. Based on the Paru Itagaki manga series of the same name, the show follows a world where anthropomorphic animals live and herbivores and carnivores are divided--for obvious reasons. Legoshi is the center of the story, a timid wolf who is a student at the Cherryton Academy. There is a murder at the school, which divides the classmates.
If you're interested in more streaming service news, check out what's coming to Hulu and Amazon Prime Video for the month of March as well.
