New Nintendo Switch Model Battery Tested In New Video
New Nintendo Switch Model Battery Tested In New Video-October 2024
Oct 22, 2024 9:32 PM

The new Nintendo Switch mode with improved battery life has been released last week in Australia, and a new video showcasing a battery test has been released online.

The test, which has been shared on YouTube by MeeMe Gaming, shows how long the new battery lasts while playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in handheld mode. The test shows that the battery lasted for over 5 hours while playing the game at around 50% brightness with Airplane Mode on, which is around double the battery life of the old model.

This is my 2nd clip testing battery life of New Nintendo Switch 2019 playing Zelda til battery was gone. Check the clip for the result.

Next month, the Lite model will be released worldwide. For a lower price, players can get a portable only version of the console.

Nintendo Switch Lite has integrated controls and is smaller than the flagship version of Nintendo Switch. It has no kickstand and, as a dedicated handheld gaming device, does not support video output to a TV. Therefore, it does not come with a dock or HDMI cable.

The new device can play all games in the robust Nintendo Switch library that support handheld mode*, although some games will have restrictions.
