Mattel and UDS made a surprise announcement today: They are launching another HotWheels game titled Micro Racers. UDS is developing this lighthearted racer for the PC and is currently in discussions about a possible PlayStation version too.
Gamespot News got hold of the first screenshots of the game this morning. Judging from these images, HotWheels Micro Racers very much reminds us of Codemasters' Micro Machines series. Micro Racers lets you race in three different locations: an office, a kid's bedroom, and the beach. You can play via split screen against a friend or try your luck in the championship, single-race, or pursuit mode.
