GameSpot has received the final North American version of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker for the GameCube. While we're only a few hours into the game, there appears to be very little difference between the Japanese and North American versions of the game. The combat remains the same, with Link being able to perform a variety of different combinations and counterattacks with his sword. In addition, the quests have remained unchanged at this point, and the fact that the dialogue is now in English seems to make it a bit easier to venture through dungeons or collect specific items.
We'll have much more on The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker over the next few weeks.
