Sega of America has released new screenshots from its Nintendo GameCube launch game Super Monkey Ball. In the game, players must maneuver monkeys trapped inside translucent spheres by tilting 3D planes while keeping the monkeys from falling off the edges. One of the gameplay modes exclusive to the GameCube version is the party mode, where up to four players can take part in various minigames. Other gameplay modes include monkey race, monkey fight, and monkey target. Super Monkey Ball will be released alongside the Japanese GameCube launch on September 14. A North American release date for the game has not been officially announced, but the game is expected to be available alongside the North American launch as well.
