John Geoghegan is the new vice president of marketing at LucasArts, the company has announced. He has had more than 20 years of experience building brands and running advertising campaigns at companies such as Sun Microsystems, Sprint, Nestlé, British Airways, and Chevron. He will join up with LucasArts and hopes to continue the success the company has seen with its two recent PC games, Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars Galaxies. Geoghegan will work on the marketing of the company's upcoming titles, including Star Wars: Battlefront, Mercenaries, and the hotly anticipated Star Wars Republic Commando.
