The most-anticipated N64 game has been kept behind a veil of secrecy. But yesterday new screenshots of Zelda 64 appeared on Nintendo of America's web site and in the Japan gaming magazine, Weekly Famitsu.
The new shots show even more of the amazing graphics and characters that fill Link's world. In one level, Link is seen trekking through the belly of a huge monster, combating Metroid-like creatures, while in a more dungeon-looking stage, he can be viewed fighting a magical flying skull.
If these pictures are any indication, Link should have even more and better-looking animations than Mario in Super Mario 64.
Nintendo's most recent comments on Zelda's release were that it's on track for November in the US.
Take a look. The screenshots here are courtesy of Nintendo.com and Weekly Famitsu.
