UK-based developer Hothouse Creations has today confirmed that it has signed a second development deal (Casino, Inc. being the first) with Konami to produce an as-yet-unannounced game for the PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. The game is scheduled for release in the summer of 2005, and Hothouse has recruited Pete O'Brien, formerly a producer at Sega, to lead the project.
"Hothouse is delighted to be working on an original game with Konami, which will showcase our new technology," said Martin Carr, managing director at Hothouse. "It is an exciting time for the company, with Pop Idol looking as if it will be very strong for us this Christmas, and some other concepts at prototype stage which we are looking to discuss with publishers."
We'll bring you more information on Hothouse Creations' next game for Konami as soon as it becomes available.
