The Weinstein Company has released a red band trailer for its upcoming action-drama Gold, which stars Matthew McConaughey. The movie is based on true events and sees McConaughey's character traveling to the Indonesian jungle in search of gold. As you'll see, that is only the start of McConaughey's adventure, as the story also involves Wall Street board rooms and more.
For a red band trailer, this one is pretty tame, though you will see McConaughey's naked backside. The movie is rated R (via Slashfilm).
Gold was directed by Stephen Gaghan, who won an Oscar for the script he wrote for Steven Soderbergh's Traffic. He has a connection to video games, as he wrote the story for Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Gold also Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World), Edgar Ramirez, (Zero Dark Thirty), and Bruce Greenwood (Star Trek). The movie had a limited released in December 2016 and opens more widely later this month.
