Forza players into modding unite - a freshly released Forza Motorsport mod enables hidden native DLSS 3 frame generation in the game.
Created by modder 'other2w', the "All-in-one Forza Motorsport Enhanced With Native DLSS Frame Generation" mod (as the modder has called it) includes various visual adjustments to offer more vibrant colors, lighting filter improvements, default activation of GTAO (ambient occlusion (which has been disabled by default natively), and more. As said, this mod also enables DLSS 3 frame generation for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 cards by replacing original game DLL files with the ones the modder created. Interestingly enough, enabling this 'feature' does appear to improve the game's performance and overall quality of the game. We've included the key features of the mod below:
Increased Color Saturation;Correction of Native Lighting Filters (still in improvement);Forces the use of DLSS and/or FSR to allow customization of resolution scale;Enabled GTAO ambient occlusion, disabled by default natively;Removed depth of field and motion blur in the main entrance and Pit Stop;Disabled functions that forced the use of Ray Tracing even when turned off;Hidden Native DLSS Frame Generation now available for RTX 40 cards. We've included a video of this interesting new mod in action below. In the video, Forza Motorsport runs great in 1440p resolution at 120fps.
Forza Motorsport players interested in trying out this mod can download it from Nexusmods here.
Forza Motorsport is available globally now for PC and Xbox Series X|S. As expected, this mod is only available for the game's PC version. Here's what we wrote about the racing title in our launch review: "Forza Motorsport is a strong return to form for the core Forza series, with exceptional visuals, outstanding racing and what is a strong game throughout. While lacking in tracks, which is noticable, this is still a game worth recommending."
