New Fast And Furious 9 Video Is Just Cars Smashing Into Other Cars-January 2024
Jan 8, 2025 9:49 PM

In a little over a month, F9: The Fast Saga will race into theaters on June 25--make sure to take a look at our Fast & Furious 9 review. The next installment of the Fast & Furious franchise has quite a bit of work to do, from somehow resurrecting Han (Sung Kang) to introducing John Cena as--of all things--Dominic Toretto's (Vin Diesel) brother. None of those are as important as the cars smashing into each other at high rates of speed, though, and a new featurette from the movie proves it.

The new video, titled "Car-nage," is exactly that. A series of clips from the movie shows cars crashing, flying, being magnetically pulled into other cars, flying off of a cliff, and practically any other thing you can do to result in a bunch of crunched up metal--even if the humans inside of the automobiles suffer no injuries whatsoever. Plus, we get to see Hellen Mirren behind the wheel, which rules.

Now Playing: Fast And Furious 9: 14 Ways Han Is Alive

Given we've seen cars crash into everything from planes and helicopters to nuclear submarines, F9 certainly doesn't look to be pulling back on the carnage. What's missing most from this video, though, is a look at cars going to space--which we will see in this movie. Still, with this behind-the-scenes look at the film, it's clear that the craziest car stunts in the film are done practically, rather than using CGI.

After watching that video, waiting for this final stretch of time before seeing the movie is going to be even more difficult. Thankfully, you'll be able to watch F9 in theaters soon enough.
