Iceland-based Crown Control Productions has released a few new screens from its upcoming online role-playing game, EVE: The Second Genesis. The futuristic game takes place in a distant part of the Milky Way galaxy. It features more than 5000 populated solar systems that are controlled by five major empires: the Gallente Federation, the Caldari Empire, the Amarr Empire, the Jovian Empire, and the Minmatar Republic. Some recent technological advancements, such as the discovery of wormholes, have threatened the peaceful relations between the empires.
The latest update on the official EVE Web site includes a detailed description of wormholes, jumpgates, and faster-than-light travel. For more information about EVE: The Second Genesis, take a look at our previous coverage of the game and visit the official EVE Web site.
A public beta test of the game is expected to begin before the end of the year.
