A new poster for Dune has been released. Director Denis Villeneuve's highly anticipated sci-fi movie hits theaters and HBO Max on October 22.
The new Dune poster has a floating head montage design and focuses on the main cast. Timothée Chalamet's main character Paul Atreides looms biggest, with co-stars Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Jason Momoa, Oscar Isaac, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster below him. Javier Bardem's Stilgar is at the bottom of the photoshopped head pile, with another image of Chalamet further down the poster, walking introspectively through the desert. Check it out below:

This poster follows this recent full-length Dune trailer and two sets of characters posters. The movie also stars Dave Bautista, David Dastmalchian, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, Chang Chen, and Stephen McKinley Henderson.
Dune is based on Frank Herbert's classic sci-fi novel. The movie only adapts the first half of the novel, and while the second movie hasn't been officially announced yet, writer Eric Roth previously told Collider that he had already written a treatment for the sequel. "Hopefully people love Dune so much that they do want to have a second part, and I'm sure Denis would do an amazing version of that," he said.
There's also a Dune spin-off show in the works for HBO Max. The series is titled Dune: The Sisterhood and it was recently reported that Diane Ademu-John (The Haunting of Bly Manor) and Scott Z. Burns (Contagion) will be the showrunners. It will focus on the Bene Gesserit, a mysterious order of women with incredible powers that feature across Herbert's book series.
