Bungie's new Destiny livestream event, which was announced last week, will begin on March 2, Bungie announced today in its latest "This Week At Bungie" blog post. The first episode in the "Ride Along" series will be a post-mortem of sorts in which senior artist Andrew Hopps and designer Brian Frank will discuss the art and design of Destiny's Dreadnaught location.
Subsequent episodes will focus on things like Destiny's music, the revival of the Bungie Bounty event, and, perhaps most interestingly, the game's new update coming out this spring.
"Designers will be front and center to unveil new details about a content release that will feature a significant Light increase, a bunch of new gear to earn and equip, and new challenges for PvE players seeking some more fun experiences and replayability," Bungie said.
Every Ride Along episode will be accompanied by a "full blog article," Bungie explained. GameSpot will bring you all the Destiny news from these events.
Destiny's spring update was announced earlier this month. At the time, Bungie didn't detail what the bespoke Light increase will translate to exactly or if these new challenges will be reserved for those who have reached the highest Light levels. Since The Taken King's release, Bungie has added a Challenge mode for the King's Fall raid and limited-time modes.
In other Destiny news, the game is getting a "large" expansion this year, with a full sequel coming in 2017.
