New Cuphead Trailer Has Finally Arrived And Inkwell Isles Has Never Looked As Wild-November 2024
Nov 1, 2024 7:34 PM

Based on the award-winning video game Cuphead, The Cuphead Show is heading to Netflix this February. It stars both the rash and sometimes rude Cuphead and his wary brother Mugman--Mugsy to his friends. For King Features, C.J. Kettler will serve as the Executive Producer and Cuphead creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer will serve as executive producers for Studio MDHR.

The Cuphead Show will combine the game's nostalgic visuals that made it a delight for gamers going on five years now. Originally released on Xbox back in 2017, and eventually other consoles, Cuphead would garner a slew of awards including Xbox Game of the Year, Best Indie Game, and Best Debut Game.

Announced originally back in 2019, this animated series will be aimed more at children, and Studio MDHR also anticipated humor and gags for adult audiences. The series will not be animated as detail-oriented as the game's, but it will feature more hand-drawn characters and movement.

Tru Valentino will voice Cuphead and Frank Todaro will voice Mugman, with Wayne Brady voicing King Dice and Luke Millington-Drake reprising his role as the Devil himself.

The Cuphead Show premieres on Netflix on February 18, with 12 mini-episodes.
