Deck 13 and Focus Entertainment have rolled out a new Atlas Fallen Update across all platforms, adding AMD FSR 2 support on Xbox Series X and PS5.

In the official patch notes for this new update, it's mentioned that support for FSR 2 will be added to Xbox Series S at a later date. In addition to adding support for AMD's upscaling tech, this new update improves the level of details and draw distances. Also, the update comes with numerous bug fixes for enemies, gameplay, user interface, audio, and visuals as well as fixes for crashes. No further details about the specific crashes have been provided.

With FSR 2 now being supported on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, it will be interesting to see how framerates will benefit on said consoles. We suggest reading the full patch notes for this new update here.

Atlas Fallen is available globally now for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Here's what we wrote about Deck 13's Action RPG in our launch review:

At its heart, Atlas Fallen is a third-person action game where players control their custom-created Nameless Gauntlet bearer as they explore five different medium-sized open areas completing quests, collecting resources to power the Nameless up, completing different activities, and defeating a variety of enemies, ranging from small to massive, multi-parts Wraiths. The best way to describe the whole experience is a sort of God of War lite, as the Deck13 game has quite a bit in common with the latest entries in the series by Santa Monica Studios, from the semi-open-world setting to character progression, which is quite different from that of a typical action role-playing game. Much like Kratos, the Nameless' level and abilities, for example, are determined by the suit of armor they wear, which also dictate their level, allowing players to compare their abilities with those of the enemies quickly.
