A new poster for upcoming James Bond movie Spectre is a throwback of sorts. The new image shows the iconic British super-spy dressed in a white dinner jacket, reminiscent of past entries in the series like Octopussy, The Man With the Golden Gun, and Diamonds Are Forever, among others.
Seen behind Bond is a masked figure from Spectre's Day of the Dead scene.
Spectre is due out on October 26 in the UK, and will be followed by a worldwide release on November 6. It's a direct sequel to the last three Daniel Craig-starring films, and features Christoph Waltz and the apparent return of SPECTRE, the villainous group from the Bond novels and early films.
The movie was directed by Sam Mendes, who says he may not return for the inevitable follow-up.
In other recent Bond news, Craig recently talked about how his Bond is "not as sexist and misogynistic" as previous incarnations. He also explained why there is a "great sadness" to the Bond character.
