The new trailer for The Woman in the Window is here. The Netflix thriller stars Amy Adams and Gary Oldman, and it releases on May 14.

　　Adams plays an agoraphobic woman named Anna, who befriends Jane, the woman living in the apartment opposite. When Anna sees Jane brutally attacked she calls the police. But not only is there no evidence of a crime, Jane herself is an entirely different woman who claims never to have met Anna. The movie was shot back in 2018 and has undergone reshoots since then, but hopefully, it'll still live up to the promise of its Hitchcockian premise. Check the trailer out below:

　　The Woman in the Window's impressive cast also includes Jennifer Jason Leigh, Julianne Moore , Anthony Mackie, and Brian Tyree Henry. It's directed by Joe Wright, who previously helmed Darkest Hour, Hanna, and Atonement, and based on the best-selling novel by A. J. Finn.

　　The movie was originally scheduled for a theatrical release in October 2019. It was initially delayed for reshoots after reported negative test screenings, and then because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In October 2020, it was announced that Netflix had secured it for worldwide release.
