Oct 21, 2024 4:37 AM

Back in May 2018, Netflix picked up the rights for a Locke & Key TV series, after Hulu passed on a pilot filmed for the streaming service. Now, Netflix has announced the show, based on the IDW comic book series, will be arriving on February 7, 2020.

Locke & Key follows a mother and her three children who move into their ancestral home after the patriarch of the family is mysteriously murdered. Known as Keyhouse, the gigantic house holds secrets and mysteries, including keys that hold mystical powers that could help the children find out who killed their father and why. Additionally, there is a powerful force trying to steal the keys from the children. The book was written by Joe Hill and features art by Gabriel Rodriguez.
