Netflix announces their global fan event, Tudum, their first ever global fan event that will feature exclusive first looks at their upcoming movies and shows. The event will happen on September 26 and will showcase upcoming Netflix projects like Stranger Things, Witcher, and more. Check out the trailer in the video below.
Tudum, named after the jingle that plays when Netflix launches on streaming devices, will be a three-hour virtual event starting on Saturday, September 25 at 12 PM ET and will have a special pre-show featuring Korean and Indian series and films as well as anime 8 AM ET.
Viewers will be able to watch Tudum in different languages on Netflix's Twitter, Twitch, and YouTube channels.
Fans can co-stream the event by registering on the Tudum website. Netflix assured co-streamers will be able to stream on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch without fear of getting DMCA'd due to copyright strikes because the event will have content cleared for global use for three months. Just to be safe, Netflix recommends streamers turn off clips, highlights and post broadcast vods of the events on Twitch.
The free virtual event will feature news and trailers for upcoming shows like Aggretsuko Season 4, Big Mouth, Bridgerton, The Old Guard, and The Umbrella Academy as well as appearances from stars like The Witcher's Henry Cavill, Stranger Things' Gaten Matarazzo and Netflix's upcoming live-action Cowboy Bebop star John Cho.
