Netflix has announced that it's adding a bunch of DC superhero movies pretty soon. Eight DC Extended Universe movies are coming to Netflix in the US on December 1, including Man of Steel, Justice League, Birds of Prey, Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman: 1984, Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad, and The Suicide Squad.
Notably, Netflix is getting the theatrical version of Justice League, not Zack Snyder's director's cut. Additionally, all of these movies are currently available to stream on Max and are likely to remain there even after they're added to Netflix in December.
This is just the latest move from Warner Bros. Discovery to license its content to other providers, in addition to hosting the same content on its own platforms. Before this, WB Discovery cut a deal with Netflix for Band of Brothers and The Pacific, among other titles.

The next big DC theatrical release is Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which releases in theaters on December 22.
Netflix has not yet announced the full lineup of titles coming to the platform in December beyond these superhero films, but confirmed releases so far include Maestro, Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, Rebel Moon (from Zack Snyder), and Pokemon Concierge.
