Acclaim Sports has announced that NBA Jam 2001 for the Game Boy Color will ship tomorrow to retailers nationwide. The game will be available later this week. The GBC game features new moves such as skyhooks, alley-oops, tip-ins, reverse layups, and off-the-glass passes. NBA Jam 2001 also includes a "fun mode" with player hot spots, half-court super dunks, and the familiar on-fire mode. In the traditional NBA Jam style, players can unlock new characters and teams.
"One of the most recognizable brands in sports video gaming history is back this season when NBA Jam 2001 slams its way onto the Game Boy Color," stated Brian Shields, marketing manager for Acclaim Sports. "NBA Jam 200 is packed with all-new game modes as well as classic Jam favorites that gamers know and love."
NBA Jam 2001 for the Game Boy Color was developed by Digital Creations.
