Naughty Dog’s game designer Asher Einhorn has taken to Twitter to share his enthusiasm about the upcoming The Last of Us Part 2 for PlayStation 4.
Of course, developer hyping their games isn’t a new phenomenon, but since it’s been a while since we last heard about the upcoming sequel, we thought it would be nice to share this particular tweet from one the game’s designers. According to Einhorn, he hasn’t been more excited about a game while working on it, and if the designer is to be believed, The Last of Us Part 2 is going to be “unreal”.
“I don't think I've ever been more excited about a game I'm working on WHILE I'm actually making it”, he tweeted. “This thing's going to be freakin' unreal!!”
The sequel to 2013’s The Last of Us was officially announced at Sony’s 2016 PlayStation Experience. Development on the game began back in 2014, and following its reveal, a second trailer was released back in October of last year. The game also made its appearance at Sony’s E3 event this year.
The Last of Us Part will release exclusively for PlayStation 4, but a release date has yet to be revealed.
