The American arm of the Electronic Sports League, NESL, announced a $12,000 Hearthstone pre season earlier this week in honor of the game reaching open beta.

Each Sunday the league will host a $500.00 open tournament and each Tuesday will host a King of the Hill tournament in which the the last man standing will also walk away with $500.00. The King of the Hill event will be streamed on NESL TV.
Open tournament matches are best of three until the quarter finals, where it then turns into a best of five. After each loss the player must choose a new class.
