Sierra Sports' latest realistic stock car racing game, NASCAR Racing 4, climbed up a notch to third place in PC Data's most recent list of best-selling games. The game was developed by Papyrus, the studio responsible for the previous games in the series. In what has become a predictable weekly occurrence, Electronic Arts' virtual life game The Sims took first place, and it was backed up by The Sims: Livin' Large expansion pack in second place. These two spots on the list have remained unchanged since before the beginning of the year.

　　Hasbro Interactive's theme park management game Roller Coaster Tycoon was knocked from its third-place perch down to fourth. That position is still quite impressive, considering that the game was released almost two years ago and has remained in the top ten best-selling games list almost continuously since that time. Blizzard's popular action-RPG Diablo II took fifth place, up from sixth place the week before.
