MySpace has hooked up with Oberon Media to let its users add a variety of casual games to their personal pages, reports Reuters.
The new gaming channel will be called MySpace Games and is set to launch in 2008. The idea behind it is that the company is looking to tap into the rapidly growing casual-gaming market. Users will be able to choose from "hundreds of five-minute distractions," and play against others online.
Social networking site MySpace was set up in 2003, and is a free-to-use service in which users create a personal Web page and list their favourite music, movies, and other personal info. MySpace was bought by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation in 2005.
