Season 4 of the hugely popular anime series My Hero Academia started screening on Adult Swim's Toonami in November last year. There's only a few episodes of the season left, but fans also have the new My Hero movie to look forward to. The film's release date has now been confirmed.

My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising will be released on February 26. The movie will hit more than 1,000 screens across the US and Canada in both the subtitled Japanese-language version and an English-language dub. Advance sales for the movie will start from January 31--check the trailer out below:

A synopsis for the film has also been released. It reads: "Class 1-A visits Nabu Island where they finally get to do some real hero work. The place is so peaceful that it's more like a vacation… until they're attacked by a villain with an unfathomable Quirk! His power is eerily familiar, and it looks like Shigaraki had a hand in the plan. But with All Might retired and citizens' lives on the line, there's no time for questions. Deku and his friends are the next generation of heroes, and they're the island's only hope."

Heroes Rising is the second My Hero Academia movie. The first, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, was released in 2018. It made made $5.7 million from a two week run, putting it into the top 10 highest grossing anime films of all time in the US. Read GameSpot's Two Heroes review here.
