It was a battle between titans. Over the course of the tournament, neither MVP.Phoenix nor 5inQ had dropped a game against anyone but each other. The final showdown began on a poor note for MVP Phoenix, with the 5inQ's Lifestealer wolfing down a Lion's share of the kills. However, MVP Phoenix rallied soon enough, taking the second and third game before 5inQ fought back in the fourth game, claiming a first blood and quick triple kill. MVP Phoenix retaliated and for a while, it looked as though they had a sufficient enough advantage to mow down 5inQ. It didn't work. 5inQ went on to win the fourth game, putting both teams at 2-2.
In the end, MVP.Phoenix emerged triumphant by capitalizing an extremely aggressive line-up and an early game advantage. In spite of 5inQ's best attempts, MVP.Phoenix went home with the $75000 first prize.
