It's finally official: MVP is back... well sort of. EA's announcement of its much-expected NCAA baseball game--MVP 06 NCAA Baseball--is here and few are surprised. Rumor of the game's development has been swirling ever since EA made a deal with the NCAA for exclusive college football rights. With college basketball sharing its licensing wealth and Take Two effectively kicking EA out of the MLB business, a collegiate baseball game just makes sense. Though college baseball isn't exactly Big Ten football when it comes to fan interest, there's still a lot of potential here.

　　So now that the game is official news, it's time to talk features. I've got a few ideas that I'd like to see in the game:

　　The all important ping of the aluminum bat. Got to get the ping right.The stadiums. There are a lot of beautiful stadiums out there; little miniaturized SBC Parks tucked away in college campuses across the nation. Let's see them.The more Division IA teams the merrier. This is no time to be getting stingy on us.Pitchers that go through school with a 2.97 ERA and a .396 batting average. Nowhere else this side of Jason Marquis do you see pitchers capable of doing so much damage on either end of the plate.That's my list (or at least the start of one).
