Codemasters and MTV: Music Television have today announced the development of MTV Music Generator 3: This Is the Remix for both the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. This Is the Remix is the first title in the series not to be a PlayStation or PS2 exclusive, and it will allow players to create and sample original music as well as remix tracks from popular hip-hop and electronic artists.

　　"The MTV Music Generator 3 is the easiest and simplest music remixing product available and for the first time will provide players with the opportunity to create and mix samples from their very own CD collection, as well as popular artists already included," said Tony Calandra, director of interactive products at MTV. "This series has been a huge success, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Codemasters."
