Whatever you call it, Mplayer, Rysher Entertainment, and Gravis are getting together to hold a Quake II tournament (using four levels created by Neil Manke) based on the Soldier of Fortune TV show.
Believe it or not, this is actually the second tournament to run using levels based on that show - and that's even before Dennis Rodman joins the show's cast for its second season.
This tourney is already under way (play began Monday), but competition runs through noon PST on Monday, July 27, in open classes, free for Mplayer members who have a full retail version of Quake II.
Play in that round of the tourney will determine who will compete in one of three divisions: Pro, Competitive, and Llama. Winners in all three divisions will take home cash prizes, Soldier of Fortune merchandise, and Gravis Xterminator Game Pads.
