GameSpot News received a few new screenshots from Activision that show scenes from the first official Quake II Mission Pack: The Reckoning. The add-on should be hitting shelves this spring.
The title is being developed by Xatrix Entertainment. The new pictures give a closer look at the new enemy, the Gekk, and a look at what one of the levels will look like. From what we saw of the add-on when Xatrix came by GameSpot for a demo, the mission pack looks promising.
In related Quake II news, Id Software announced on Monday that it had teamed up with Rogue Entertainment to develop the second official mission pack for Quake II, Ground Zero. The add-on should be available sometime this summer.
