Word reached GameSpot News from Sierra that Starsiege: Tribes has officially gone gold, and a master disc has been sent to Utah, along with two members of the Sierra's QA team, to oversee the 250,000-copy first production of the game. Tribes is a multiplayer, squad-based first-person action title for up to 32 players.
Eugene, Oregon-based Dynamix has spent two years developing the title for Sierra On-Line.
