Pipe Dream's port of Rainbow Six for the Dreamcast has now been delayed until mid-October, says a spokesperson for the company. The game was supposed to have released alongside the Sega Dreamcast when it launched on September 9, but it has apparently hit a few snags. Specifics were not given. However, to make up for the delay, Pipe Dream has revealed that the Dreamcast version will also feature the PC's add-on mission pack levels.
GameSpot News has also confirmed that another Rainbow Six title will be headed to the Dreamcast next year. Whether this will be a port of the recently released Rogue Spear for the PC remains to be seen, but a company spokesperson wouldn't rule out the possibility. It's also currently unknown whether the game will feature online play.
