Monster Hunter World Squads Issues To Be Fixed In Update 1.05; Fix For Commemorative Item Pack Also Coming-October 2024
Oct 24, 2024 1:32 PM

Monster Hunter World, the latest entry in the series developed by Capcom, has been released with some issues that are preventing players from enjoying the game to the fullest. While some of these issues have already been addressed, many are still in the game, but at least one of them is getting fixed in the next update.

Earlier today, the Monster Hunter World official Japanese Twitter profile confirmed that Capcom has found the reason behind the Squads issues which prevent some players from accessing the function. It seems like the issues are caused by incomplete data on the servers, and they will be fixed in the 1.05 update.

Capcom has also confirmed recently that a fix for the Commemorative Item Pack is also coming soon.

We discovered a bug that has prevented some customers from receiving the "5 Million Celebration Item Pack" added in a recent update. We apologize for the inconvenience, and will fix this issue as soon as possible. We will make another announcement once the item pack is available. Thank you for your patience!

On a related note, the Monster Hunter World official Twitter profile has also reminded players that today is the last day that the Horizon Zero Dawn inspired quest will be available for PlayStation 4 players. Upon completion, it will be possible to craft the Watcher armor and Felyn Watcher Grinder weapon for Palicoes.

Monster Hunter World is one of the best entries in the series, with the experience having been improved considerably by the many quality of life enhancements.

Capcom’s first full-fledged Monster Hunter on the latest generation of consoles (with PC to follow later this year) is among one of the strongest sequels to any RPG I’ve ever played. Nearly every quality of life improvement works out in World’s favor and makes the experience more immersive and accessible, rather than trying to dumb it down for a newer audience (I certainly won’t miss trying to knock out a Fatalis with an orange sharpness hammer just because I was an idiot that didn’t bring enough Whetstones). We’re only just in the first month of 2018 and already I can claim that Monster Hunter World might very well be my own personal Game of the Year.

Monster Hunter World is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will release on PC later this year.
