A new Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update will go live very soon on PC and Nintendo Switch, introducing new content to the latest entry in the series developed by CAPCOM released last year worldwide.
Title Update 5 will go live, as detailed by today's Digital Event, tomorrow, April 20th, on PC and Nintendo Switch. The update will introduce a new Elder Dragon, Amatsu, and a new variant of an already available monster, Risen Shagaru Magala. The new update will also add Special Investigations to Anomaly Investigations, new Event Quests that will offer some exclusive rewards, and support for additional paid DLC.
The release of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update 5 won't mark the end of support for the latest entry in the series, as CAPCOM confirmed a bonus update will go live sometime this June. What this update will introduce has yet to be confirmed, although it was announced that it will feature a new variant monster.
As mentioned above, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak was launched last year on PC and Nintendo Switch and will make its way onto PlayStation and Xbox consoles later this month, on April 28th. The major expansion to the successful latest entry in the series is every bit as good as the base game, introducing new monsters as well as new mechanics, such as new Switch Skills and the ability to change Switch Skills loadouts on the fly, which give players way more combat options than in the base game.
