You'll need to keep a healthy supply of Monster Fluid on hand. It's important to remember that for every crafting recipe that calls for a quantity of one of said material, you need 25 Monster Fluid to satisfy the requirement. Just hang on to extra units if you’re not sure how much you might need for a specific craft recipe.
You can get Monster Fluid from three small and one large monster:
Quest Reward: 32%Carve: 25%Dropped: 10%Dropped (Yellow Variation): 25%Bnahabra
Quest Reward: 13%Carve: 25%Rachinoid
Quest Reward: 16%Carve: 32%
Hunt Reward: 15%Wyvern Riding Drop: 25%
Head to these locales for the best farming opportunities.Head to the west part of Area 1 in the above mapKill and carve the two Altaroth thereNext, go to the caverns in Area 13Kill and carve the Rachinoids you find in the new areaFast travel back to Main Camp and check Area 1By this time, the Altaroth should have respawned, and you can kill and carve them againRepeat until the desired amount of Monster Fluid is collectedOnce you've gotten your fill of Monster Fluid drops, then complete the quest you took. That should give you an additional chance to earn more Monster Fluid as a quest reward. If RNG is kind to you, it should only take an hour or so to get plenty to last for a while. Then you can resume your higher-level hunts, with all the resources you need to get started on crafting new equipment.
