Monster Hunter Rise, the upcoming Nintendo Switch-exclusive Monster Hunter game, received a new trailer at The Game Awards 2020. It's still coming next March, but the end of the trailer revealed you won't have to wait that long to sample it.
The trailer footage showed off lots of in-game footage, including combat and new environmental armaments. The characters shed a little more light on the story with an event called the Rampage, when monsters stampeded the land. Unlocking the mystery behind the Rampage may play a central role in the story.

The trailer ended with the announcement that a demo is coming to the Nintendo eShop in January 2021. That will give you a few months to sharpen your monster hunting skills before it releases on March 26, 2021.
This is one of two new Monster Hunter games on the way, with the other being Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. That's also coming to Switch.
