Monster announces invitational event for SXSW-November 2024

　　The Monster Invitational is due to take place from the 7th till the 9th of March and will take place at SXSW 2014 which is hosted in Austin, Texas. A total of $15,000 will be up for grabs with first place netting the team $10,000.

　　Those attending the trade show will be able to watch the event live at the venue with free entrance or alternately it will be streamed online. You can find the full information on the event on their website here: http://sxsw.d2l.gg/

The Teams

The four teams attending will be Cloud 9, eHug, Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid. Two of teams will be making use of standins as Cloud 9 will be playing without Pittner 'bOne7' Armand however the highest earning standin Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho will attend the event with the team instead. Max 'qojqva' Broecker from Team Liquid will also be unable to attend so Arif 'MSS' Anwar will be standing in for him as well.

　　6:00PM CST - Ability Draft All-Stars (Bo1)

　　Saturday, 8th March

　　11:00AM CST - Loser's Bracket Round 1 (Bo3)

　　3:00PM CST - Winner's Bracket Finals (Bo3)

　　6:00PM CST - Ability Draft All-Stars (Bo1)

　　Sunday, 9th March

　　11:00AM CST - Loser's Bracket Finals (Bo3)

　　3:00PM CST - Grand Finals (Bo5)
